Located on a hilltop in the outskirts of the city of Sendai, the Caslon restaurant and bakery shop is a collaboration between a bakery with a commitment to natural yeast, a café, and sale of D-BROS products. Distinctive logos, fixtures, tableware, publicity items and menu covers were all produced by the D-BROS team in honor of the local environs, the soaring sky, the invigorating air. Conceived to encourage a relaxing interlude, the bright, clean and open space and the items it contains are unified by a playful design spirit. Our goal was to create a café filled with happy laughter.
